Dr. Ronaldo Opinga is the owner and a dedicated dentist at Bethel Kids Dental, where his passion is to serve underserved communities and make quality dental care accessible to every child. A proud graduate of the University of Manitoba School of Dentistry, Dr. Opinga is committed to creating positive, laughter-filled experiences that help children feel comfortable and confident about visiting the dentist. His favorite part of the job is making kids laugh and smile.

If he weren’t a dentist, Dr. Opinga imagines himself as a traveling food critic, exploring flavors from around the world. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys teaching youth about Jesus, collecting sports cards, playing chess, and—when time allows—getting plenty of rest.

A loyal fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Cowboys, his favorite color is blue, and his top food picks include steak, crabs, and sushi. He loves traveling to the Philippines and cherishes his cultural roots.

Fun fact: In high school, Dr. Opinga was an undefeated chess champion for four consecutive years, earning a day named in his honor on May 1st.

Beyond the dental chair, he’s dedicated to giving back—supporting missionaries, providing meals and care packages to the homeless, and donating Christmas shoeboxes filled with toys to less fortunate children around the globe.
